How do you use CSS on MySpace 2.0? SOLVED! (Sort-of)

Posted by kristobaldude on December 9, 2009

After searching for “How do you use CSS on MySpace?” and getting many dead ends, I started to become frustrated. The most common false-results that Google was sending me to were advising others who have asked similar questions recently to put CSS in the “About Me” section, or rudely and abrasively chastising the posters that they must needs study CSS and learn it better. Luckily, however, I did eventually find the answer when I discovered that Myspace has recenltly changed their programming, and the new version is known as “MYSPACE 2.O”. Some things work significantly differently in this new version.

The article Myspace 2.0 Tutorial says this:

“Unlike the old Myspace, you can no longer enter your CSS in your About Me section. Instead, go to Profile > Customize Profile > CSS (don’t use style tags).”

I found the below code on some other website. This can be used as a template for figuring out what Myspace element codes are so they can be modified. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the time to reverse-engineer the code and identify those elements.
